As part of the curriculum of Anna University, Industrial Visits are arranged to the students. The major industries visited and the number of students participated are tabulated as follows,

Civil Engineering

Civil students visited Chennai Metro Water Supply and Sewerage Board(CMWSSB), Chembarambakkam on 15.09.2017. They have learned about the capacity of tank, height of the tank, grade of concrete used and the design layout of the tank.

Civil Engineering

Civil students visited College Campus Temple Construction (RVS) on 29.08.2017. Students are clearing doubts regarding the historical architecture for constructing a temple with Prof. Jeyavelu.

Computer Science and Engineering

CSE students visited VSSC on 05.09.2017. They have learned about the various types of launchers and have seen small models of rockets. They were taught on fuels, earth control stations, various components of rockets, etc.

Electrical and Electronics Engineering

EEE students visited Nippo Batteries on 03.03.2018. Students learned about LCD, LED and MCD technologies used in torches. The life time of the lamps and batteries were deeply explained to them.

Electronics and Communication Engineering

ECE students visited VI Microsystems on 06.01.2018. Students were given an insight on PCB design and Hardware system design and development.

Electronics and Communication Engineering

ECE students visited ISRO, Sriharikota on 20.02.2018. The students were given an opportunity to know how satellite is launched, different launch vehicles used for satellite launching and practical application of different modes of communication system

Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical students visited Motorcycle racing ground,Irrungatukottai on 24.09.2017. First year and second year students were taken toMadras Motor race Track,where the Asian Bike (IV round) racing held on 24.09.2017.Students had  chance to take a live show of bike racing and gather the various bikes participated in the racing and their performances too.

Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical students visited VSSC on 20.08.2017. Students were explained about various models and prototypes which placed inside the Space museum, and they were taken to visit the models of various satellites that has been launched by ISRO for various applications, and followed with avideo demonstration of Space capsule Recovery experiment has been played for the best understanding of students.

Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical students visited Thillai Engineering Works, Ambatthur  Industrial Estate on 05.01.2018. Students were taken to various sections like design office, store, raw material processing, forging shop, furnace and die moulding section and explained with the functions of each section. Students got live experience of manufacturing processes carried out  in industries.

First Year Students

First Year students visited ISRO, Sriharikota on 10.11.2017. The students were first visited MCC consists computer, data processing, closed circuit television, real time tracking systems, meterological observation eruipment. It is linked to eight radars located at sriharikota, telementry, and commend network. Then they were taken to FLP, SLP and Space Museum.
