Besides the curriculum of Electronics & Communication Engineering lays greater emphasis on deep understanding of fundamental principles and state of art of knowledge of Electronic Devices and Circuits, Computer Architecture and Microprocessors, VLSI and Embedded Systems, Electro Magnetic Field Theory, Analog and Digital Signal Processing, Microwave and Broadband Communication.In order to reach our higher goals, we strictly follow our vision and mission.

The faculty members of ECE are highly experienced. All of them are from well reputed institution industries and companies, with their extension services, the students of ECE are upgraded.

Our programme includes acquisition of technical exposure, nurturing of career improvements as well as personality development. The laboratories are constantly upgraded to take care of the technological developments.In order to meet the wide-ranging, challenging and very rapidly growing global Demands for Professional “Electronics and Communication Engineers” in this Hi-Tech Era. The Objective of the Institution is to impart “Quality Engineering Education” and promote the growth of effective, efficient and true Professionals, through adherence of the highest standards of Academic Integrity and overall ethical conduct, to develop a sense of individual responsibility and also to collectively participate in reinforcing and maintaining an Environment of Honor, Trust and Standards. The First year Core Curriculum begins with a common knowledge base and customizes students by grounding in Basic Engineering Foundation and in Critical Hands-on Skills in Engineering Practices. The Course has access to enhance the learning, student Perspective and experience to develop a specialization in areas of ‘Electronics and Communication Engineering’. Classroom learning is complemented by practical in Hi-Tech labs, projects and hands-on experiences, so as to foster knowledge in ‘Engineering and Technology’.

Summer Internships
As per the AICTE norms, all technical institutions should provide Student Internship during the vacation. Winter Internships are arranged to the students of third and final year during vacation time. Online Courses – NPTEL
National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) is an initiative by seven IITs and IISc Bangalore for creating course content in Engineering and Science. This offers free online courses for updating students’ professional knowledge. Our institute is registered as a SPOC (2017-2018) for registering our students to make use of this opportunity. The total number of students and staff registered various courses as follows – 205 Students Registered
Sports Events
A student of our college named S.V.JANANI (II) year ECE Department participated in Thiruvallur district Championship of Chess under 17th tournament in 2018. She became a champion of it. As She won the tournament.
Industrial Visits
As part of the curriculum of Anna University, Industrial Visits are arranged to the students. The major industries visited and the number of students participated are tabulated as follows - VI Microsystems ISRO Sriharikota – 148 Students
